Ordering & Delivery

Orders can be placed online using the secure payment systems shown below or by Cheque

All orders placed online are via a secure payment systems and are regulated by the Financial Services Authority or the European Equivalent.

When you pass through the checkout process you will notice the website changes to https: this shows the website is secure, and a padlock will appear in your web browser.  

The Department of Trade & Industry recommend when buying online that websites have:

A physical address which is not a PO Box and can be checked at www.royalmail.com our address is shown at the bottom of every page of our website.

A fixed line telephone with a geographic number, our telephone number is shown at the bottom of every page of our website, we also show a mobile telephone number so customers who have "free minutes" can contact us at low cost. We have NOT out sourced our telephone lines and we do not hide our location behind 0845 & 0870 numbers, nor do we gain income from your call!

We receive NO card or bank details from any of the payment service providers.

Card or bank details should NEVER be sent by email.

Increasingly we are noticing that employers are blocking employees from shopping during company time.

Spam Filters & Junk Email:

From time to time we may need to contact you about your order, we use email to do this, if you have a spam filter or junk email box this may block our communication and may lead to us canceling your order and refunding your payment. We do NOT send junk email, nor do we use email as a method of marketing, the payment systems may however may record various information about transactions to prevent fraud.

We do NOT sell or trade your contact details with other companies.

So you can receive information you may add the following email addresses to your safe list.

Deliveries:

We use various delivery methods of delivering your order, these include Royal Mail, APC Overnight Couriers, DHL & FedEx, all deliveries will need to be signed for on receipt.

Packaging:

We pack parcels to a very high standard, and our breakage rate is exceedingly low, in the exceedingly unlikely event that your order is damaged in transit please contact us IMMEDIATELY do not dispose of any damaged items prior to contacting us, we may request that you return a broken item, email or picture message digital photographs, following which we will replace or refund broken items.

Dispatch Times:

All lamps are dispatched from UK stock, generally we aim to dispatch your order in 8 to 12 working days by the methods shown above, if your order is urgent please contact us and we will do our best to help you, please note dispatch times are not delivery times, delivery times vary from post to courier and delivery locations, we hold parcel numbers, tracking information, proof of delivery and Ident numbers for all the parcels we send, if courier companies have difficulty locating your address please let us know as in most cases we can add extra information, even attach maps to parcels to help.    

Courier deliveries take place from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, later & earlier in out lying areas, in some cases royal mail will deliver with your normal letter post, while in some areas your local delivery office may run a parcel van during the day. We are not able to offer timed deliveries without a surcharge, please contact us for details.

We do NOT surcharge for deliveries to anywhere in the UK including Highlands, Islands, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Orkney, Shetland, Hebrides, or Northern Ireland, in SOME cases we do NOT surcharge for deliveries to the Irish Republic, and other European Destinations, please email us for details.
