We live in a time where replacement is the norm, and the repair of small appliances is somewhat unlikely, with small domestic appliances priced similarly to some of our lamps, its worth considering 3 years after purchase, if the appliance breaks down, would the repair parts be available? well the answer is probably not, the only option would be replacement. Replacement not only has a financial cost but also a long term environmental cost, not to mention inconvenience,  but when you purchase an appliance from us we actually hold spare parts, to put it another way, if a manufacturer is not able to supply us with spare parts, we will NOT stock the appliance, by doing this we help to preserve our customers initial investment, and also help the environment.

here are a few tips:

·        All equipment is shipped dry & non fuelled.

·        Always allow the wick to soak up fuel for about 30 minutes before the appliance is lit for the very first time.

·        Always use good quality paraffin/kerosene.

·        Always place the equipment on a firm stable NON FLAMMABLE surface.

·        Always allow equipment to cool thoroughly before storing.

·        Always allow equipment to cool thoroughly before cleaning.

·        The Equipment is NOT a toy keep children away.

·        Never over fill the equipment, the average appliance will burn between 9 & 12 hours on half to three quarters of a tank of premium quality fuel.

·        The wick winder should be adjusted once lit to provide a white light, NEVER wind the wick so low in to the mechanism so as to cause it to fall in to the fuel reservoir!
